Leadership development expert, Dr. Mary Key is the founder of Key Associates, a firm dedicated to helping leaders succeed and their organizations grow. She is also an international consultant, author, speaker, and trusted advisor to many diverse organizations in areas such are healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, consumer products, financial institutions, energy, technology, and retail.

Key is the founder of the Key Women’s Leadership Forums. The purpose of the women’s forum is to bring together executive women to focus on pressing issues, leveraging their influence, and aligning mind, body, spirit, and career with what is purposeful for them. Her firm was recently acquired and is now part of Women on Their Way (WOTW) and the McGuckin Group.
Key was part of a national team that built Inc. Magazine’s Eagles CEO program where CEOs of fast growing companies came together to focus on each other’s strategic business issues and participate in one on one coaching to achieve remarkable results. She has served as an executive coach to over 100 CEOs. Prior to starting her own firm, Key worked with several consulting firms rising to leadership positions with P & L responsibilities.
Key has written several books including Seizing Success: A Woman’s Guide to Transformational Leadership, CEO Road Rules: Right Focus, Right People, Right Execution and The Entrepreneurial Cat: 13 Ways to Transform Your Work Life. She has also authored numerous articles and blogs. Key received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and her BS from the University of Massachusetts.
Key was selected to be part of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF), International Women’s Forum (IWF), Athena Society, CEO Council of Tampa of Bay and Leadership Florida. She is a past finalist for Business Woman of the Year in Tampa Bay and a founding member of the Private Directors’ Association, Tampa Bay, where she sits on the executive committee. A lifelong animal welfare advocate, Key co-founded and served as Chair of No More Homeless Pets.
